Community invited to review Flood Park design ideas

San Mateo County Parks will host a community meeting to show three alternatives for a redesigned Flood Park on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Fair Oaks Community Center (2600 Middlefield Road, Redwood City).
At the meeting, participants will be asked to indicate which design alternatives resonates with them or which elements of the design are preferred and could be combined into an overall design for the 21-acre park. The designs reflect what was expressed as priorities for park features at two community meetings held earlier this year and via an online survey.
Flood Park shares borders with Menlo Park and Redwood City. It was part of the Flood family estate and was a building project of the Work Progress Administration in the 1930s.
