ConnectMenlo open house set for Wednesday, Sept. 2
ConnectMenlo is an update of the City’s General Plan, which guides future development, land uses, and transportation in the city. An open house on the topic will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at the Downtown Paseo (Chestnut St. at Santa Cruz Ave.) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Over the past year, Menlo Park has been working to update its General Plan, with a focus on future land uses in the M-2 Area and transportation throughout the city. The next phase will focus on General Plan goals, policies and programs, as well as the zoning and design requirements for new development in the M-2 Area.
The open house will be focusing on the following topics:
- Goals, Policies and Programs of the Land Use and Circulation Elements
- M-2 Area Zoning Development Regulations (density, floor area ratios, height, setbacks, etc.) and Design Standards
- Community Amenities
- Citywide Street Classification System
