M-A senior Olivia Luna wins Peninsula Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year Award

Update: Olivia was selected as Northern California Youth of the Year and will compete in the state competition on April 6.
M-A senior Olivia Luna won the Peninsula Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year Award. She was the top candidate from the Menlo Park, Redwood City and East Palo Alto clubhouses and will now go to Sacramento for the Northern California competition.
The program recognizes outstanding contributions by a Club’s member to their family, school, community and Boys & Girls Club. It also acknowledges youth for overcoming personal challenges and/or obstacles.
The BGCP Youth of the Year receives a plaque and a $1,500 scholarship from BGCP.
