Spotted: Early afternoon fun at Nativity Carnival

by Linda Hubbard on June 11, 2016

The “early bird gets the worm” proved true at the Nativity Carnival today. Arriving just as it opened at noon meant zero lines and mellow crowds.

James on boat rideRides range from very mild (enjoyed by one young boy) to fairly mellow (the dragon roller coaster) to scary teen delights.

There’s a good mix of standard carnival food as well as tasty offerings from Nativity parents, such as the Dad’s Club tri-tip and rib dinners.

Things will get heated up this evening when Pride & Joy is the music headliner.

The carnival runs until 11:00 pm tonight and then again from noon to 6:00 pm on Sunday.

A shout out to Menlo Park: One carny worker said he always enjoys coming here as “the kids are so nice!”
