by Contributed Content on August 9, 2016

Adults are invited to visit with Hans Christian Andersen, as storyteller Randel McGee portrays the legendary author.

McGee is an internationally-recognized storyteller, teacher and artist. He portrays Hans Christian Andersen in period costume as he shares some of Andersen’s most-loved stories. He is also an accomplished paper-cut artist and produces fascinating pictures and designs as he tells some of the stories, just as Andersen himself did.

McGee’s performance as Hans Christian Andersen will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 13. at the Menlo Park City Council Chambers, located at 701 Laurel Street. The event is free, thanks to funding from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library,
