Jasper Ridge Farm celebrates new location at Webb Ranch with an open house

Jasper Ridge Farm hosted an open house celebration this afternoon to introduce the community to its new location at Webb Ranch.
Among the stars of the show were Jules, a Friesian horse who likes being fussed over, and twin goats Leo and Laverne, who were seemingly bemused by all the attention.
Over the past eight years, Jasper Ridge Farm has annually served over 1,500 children and veterans who interact with a farmyard of gentle animals.
Children facing life threatening illnesses, or those dealing with stressful family situations such as homelessness or domestic violence, or those living with special needs, can find comfort, healing and joy in the company of a cuddly bunny, a gentle horse or a playful goat.
Programs for active military and veterans with traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and physical disabilities are also offered.
Information about all the Farm’s programs is available online.
