Spotted: Farm animals showing off their Halloween finery at Jasper Ridge Farm

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on October 29, 2016

pony-and-friend_jasper-1Jasper Ridge Farms, which moved last summer to a new home on Webb Ranch, held a Halloween open house this afternoon. Many of the animals were decked out in Halloween finery, but not so much that it would prevent them from being the animals they are!

Jasper Ridge is a non-profit that provides children in need with the experience of interacting with gentle farm animals. Also offered is a Veterans Horseback Riding Program for active duty personnel and injured veterans (including those dealing with traumatic brain injuries and/or post-traumatic stress disorder), providing them the opportunity to ride horses.
