Holiday events scheduled at Allied Arts Guild in December

The Allied Arts Guild (75 Arbor Road, Menlo Park) is hosting a Christmas Market in the Sunset Room from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 3rd. Shop for handmade pillows, quilts, ornaments, needlepoint, sweaters, knit wraps, jewelry, totes, carry-alls purses and glass pieces.

In addition, the shops will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Treat or small gift will be offered at most shops. The Merlot Notes will sing from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

Then on Sunday, December 11, the Children’s Holiday Party will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Entertainment is geared for youngsters from four to nine accompanied by an adult and features juggler Ben Farber, Heather’s Magic Show, and a visit from Santa. To attend, send a check for $25 per person to Sally Knorp, 1000 Trinity Drive, Menlo Park, 94025.
