Coding for Kids offered at Menlo Park Library beginning Jan. 21

by Contributed Content on January 10, 2017

Join us at the Menlo Park Library on Alma Street for this introduction to computer programming, especially aimed at children grades three to six.

This program is mainly for kids who have little to no experience with programming languages like Scratch and Tynker. Each class builds on the concepts taught in the previous class. Register only if your child can attend all three sessions: Saturdays: Jan. 21, Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. You can sign up online.

Each child needs to bring a laptop or a Chromebook. No tablets. Be sure to bring a charging cord!

MathAndCoding is a registered non-profit founded in February 2014. We are a group of high school students from across the Bay Area who are passionate about teaching. We arrange workshops in local libraries and community centers to teach students of all ages the basics of programming and web technologies. The coding classes are free of charge.
