Menlo Park Police looking for gray BMW X5 SUV in connection with hit and run
An apparent hit-and-run accident occurred on Feb. 20 around 10:25 pm involving a pedestrian on University Avenue just east of the rail road crossing.
Several passing motorists said that when they arrived to render aid the car that struck the victim was no longer at the scene. Officers located debris from the suspect vehicle, which was later identified as belonging to a 2000-2006 Gray BMW X5 SUV.
The victim, a 75-year-old resident of East Palo Alto, was transported to Stanford Hospital and is listed in serious condition with a head wound.
