Menlo Park residents encouraged to serve on city commissions
Menlo Park welcomes and encourages residents’ active participation through serving on a City-appointed Commission or Committee.
Commissions:
- Examine issues of community interest and make recommendations to the City Council on policy matters
- Review specific subjects and carrys out assignments as directed by the City Council or as prescribed by law.
- Establish two-year work plans that are in line with the City Council’s goals, guiding the commissions’ activities and projects.
Current vacancies with partial term limits: Environmental Quality Commission – exp. 04/30/2019, Planning Commission – exp. 04/30/2022, Sister City Committee – exp. 04/30/2020 and Complete Streets Commission – expires 4/30/2022.
