Spotted: Olive harvest at Sacred Heart Schools

Students from preschool through 12th grade come together each year to pick olives from the 50-tree orchard at Sacred Heart Schools.

Since 1898, heirloom olive trees were harvested by the nuns. The tradition was taken up again in the early 2000s by students to make SHS’s premium olive oil.
