Tangled Lines and Shifting Shadows is featured exhibit at The Main Gallery

From February 27 to April 14, The Main Gallery is featuring works by artist Kris Idarius. There will be two artist’s receptions: Friday, March 8, and Friday, April 12, both from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Writes Kris: “Do we see ourselves as standing apart from the natural world, or are we entangled with it, as interactive life forms moving through and impacting the world as the world moves through us?

“The perspective of my artwork is that of human presence enmeshed with the natural world in a moment of time, measured by change.

“Originally from Chicago, I have been making art in California for over 20 years. I love the study of art and the process of creativity, and have accumulated a few degrees. The best advice of my many wonderful teachers: study art, learn from artists that you are drawn to, then paint as though you know nothing.”

The Main Gallery is located at 883 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park.
