Join Newton Center for a summer full of fun-filled Newton Challenges — hands-on learning projects that encourage collaboration, innovation, and creativity! Our program will offer a variety of fun, engaging, hands-on learning activities that encourage campers to work together, be creative, and innovate. Back for the 2024 season are weekly field trips for students entering 1st through 6th grade in the 2024-2025 school year. At Camp Galileo, every week is a one-of-a-kind adventure full of engaging STEAM projects, collaborative design challenges and classic camp fun, from silly skits to face painting to pie throwing. Grounded in the acclaimed Galileo Innovation Approach, our hands-on activities and outdoor games cultivate essential skills- including collaboration, perseverance, and creative confidence-that last long after summer ends. engages kids in hands-on. Your child will learn from energetic teachers and counselors, and engage with writing through music, theater, and technology. Rising first graders develop foundational skills, while campers entering grades 2-5 write, edit, and publish their own eBooks. Middle school campers create their own project about a topic they love and improve their persuasive and explanatory writing skills.

Resourcefulness, creativity, and cooperation come together in this unique building adventure game; roll the dice to mine for resources, and use these resources to build special items to help in our adventures! Build a Zoo, create a Medieval Castle, and design a Tree House Village!
This experience is an original game designed by Play-Well instructors inspired by the popular game, Minecraft. Chef Meenu Summer Cooking/Baking Camp will be held at Oak Knoll. He has taught international cooking and baking classes to adults and children for over a decade. Teaches a variety of cuisines and her passion, specialty and expertise is Indian cuisine. Her mantra is to inspire adults and children to cook, try out new ingredients and dishes and equip them with lifelong culinary skills and healthy eating habits.
