3rd annual Love Our Earth Festival is held
The early morning rain on Saturday, April 13, paused just in time as the 3rd annual Love Our Earth Festival began welcoming Peninsula residents to East Palo Alto community spot Bloomhouse. The event drew over 600 registered attendees.
Attendees visited 84 exhibitors in each of the Festival’s five zones: Home Electrification Showcase, Clean Vehicles Expo, Resilient Communities, Plant-Based Market, and Engaging Activities for Families, Kids, and Folks of All Ages. Attendees could learn about everything from how they can mitigate the climate crisis by switching their major home appliances to all-electric heat pumps, to learning about ways to adapt to the effects of the climate crisis.
The 2024 festival was sponsored by the cities of East Palo Alto and Menlo Park, Peninsula Clean Energy, 350 Silicon Valley, Acterra and Menlo Spark.
