Trinity School community holds Big Help Day

On Saturday (April 20), the Trinity School community came together for their annual “Big Help Day,” demonstrating remarkable community spirit and generosity through impactful volunteer activities.
The day began at the Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Redwood City, where students and their families delighted residents with a heartfelt concert. The performance featured the Trinity student choir and several talented instrumental soloists.

Following the concert, volunteers shifted their focus to Trinity’s Early Childhood Campus, where they undertook various projects to support local and international communities. Participants assembled 148 school supply kits for the Ravenswood East Palo Alto School District kindergarten students. Additionally, 140 snack kits, complete with personalized cards, were prepared for troops overseas in collaboration with Operation Care and Comfort.
Efforts also extended to sorting through 15 substantial boxes of books, generously donated to benefit both the Achungo School in Kenya and local schools in East Palo Alto. Meanwhile, other volunteers dedicated their time to preparing dinner for 120 individuals at a transitional housing center operated by the Life Moves network in Mountain View. The day of service concluded with families personally delivering and serving the warm meals they had prepared.
Throughout the event, the Trinity students’ enthusiasm was infectious, with many eagerly asking, “What more can I do to help now?” Their energy and eagerness to contribute added a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere to the day, making it a truly memorable and impactful event.
