Portola Valley Horse Fair delights young and old

The Portola Valley Horse Fair taking place today (May 18) through 2:00 pm at the Portola Valley Town Center (765 Portola Road) delighted young kids who patiently waited in line for a pony ride or to get into the petting zoo while the carriage rides were a magnet for the adults.

There were also corralled horses, ponies and a donkey who enjoyed getting a pat on the face.

Then there was a dazzling, red 1965 (we think) Ford Mustang with matching horse trailer. It was owned by former Woodside mayor and Hall of Fame Carroll Ann Hodges (1936-2019). Just “wow!”
