Spotted: Menlo School baseball celebrating victory

After defeating Lincoln-SJ 3-1 to win CCS Div. VI, Menlo School Knights pitcher Ryan Schnell celebrates the final out with catcher Chuck Wynn at Excite Ballpark.  It was Knights first title since 2017.

Senior right-hander Ryan Schnell threw the complete-game victory, and called out the team’s culture as the driving force behind the team’s success.

“The idea of playing for the player next to you is our bread and butter, so the fact that we were able to do this tonight shows the amazing community,” Schnell said.

The Menlo School baseball team went retro celebrating its championship with a speaker as a boombox and a dugout dance party.
