The Puppet Company’s Anansi the Spider is on tap for July 28

On Sunday, July 28, from 11:00 to 11:45 am, the Menlo Park Library’s 7th Annual Summer Puppetry Festival continues with one of world folklore’s mightiest, funniest, most audacious tricksters!

Anansi the Spider is small in size, but known for his giant ideas. When he asks the Sky God Nyami for his golden box of stories, is Anansi ready to face the Leopard of the Terrible Teeth, the Hornets Who Sting Like Fire, and the Fairy Man Never Sees?

This entrancing production includes classical African design, colorful costuming, and authentic music.

The puppet show takes place at the Belle Haven Library, 100 Terminal Avenue.
