Students from Laurel and Encinal win SRTS poster contest

This year for its annual Poster and Video Challenge, the Menlo Park Safe Routes to School program invited all students in the Menlo Park City School District to share a drawing about their school commute.
Elementary school students were prompted to share in their artwork how they travel to school and with whom, what they enjoy the most, and who makes their school travel safer.
The winners are second and third graders from Laurel and Encinal Elementary schools. The artworks show biking safety reminders and children crossing the street with the help of a crossing guard.
