Middle Grade Book Group discusses Ghost Squad on November 16

On Saturday, November 16 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm,  kids between 8 and 12 are invited to come to discuss Ghost Squad, by Claribel A. Ortega.

Ghosts run in Lucely Luna’s family, and even live in the willow tree behind her house. But her father’s ghost tour business is struggling and the bank is threatening to foreclose. On top of that, her grandmother’s spirit is warning her of a coming darkness. Lucely and her best friend Syd cast a spell meant to awaken her, but instead they unleash evil spirits! Now Lucely and Syd must try to save not only Lucely’s home, but the entire town.

Middle Grade Book Group is an in-person group for kids between the ages of 8 and 12 who are interested in reading chapter books. Every month the facilitator will choose a chapter book whose publisher-assigned age rating is between 8 and 12. The group meets on the third Saturday of each month.
