by Contributed Content on November 20, 2024

On Monday, November 25 from 6:30 to 7:45 pm, join the Menlo Park Library online to talk about A Natural History of Dragons, a book “saturated with the joy and urgency of discovery and scientific curiosity.”—Publishers Weekly (starred review)

Isabella, Lady Trent, known as the world’s preeminent dragon naturalist, writes her memoir detailing how she sought true love and happiness despite her lamentable eccentricities; and of her thrilling expedition to the perilous mountains of Vystrana, where she made the first of many historic dragon discoveries that would change the world forever.

Register via Zoom.

Presenter Marie Brennan is a former anthropologist and folklorist who shamelessly leans on her academic fields for inspiration. She is the author of the Hugo Award-nominated Victorian adventure series The Memoirs of Lady Trent along with several other series, over eighty short stories, several poems, and the New Worlds series of world-building guides.

The Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Group meets online on the 4th Monday of each month.
