Menlo Park Academy of Dance performs Winter Suite — A Nutcracker Fantasy

Menlo Park Academy of Dance’s holiday show is Winter Suite – A Nutcracker Fantasy, with performances on Saturday December 21, at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm and Sunday December 22, at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Performances take place at the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center (555 Middlefield Rd. Atherton). Purchase tickets online.

The ballet follows a young girl’s dream of dancing in the Nutcracker, which takes her on a captivating adventure as she fulfills her quest.

Emails Academy director/owner Sarah-Jane Measor: “There are a few nuances/added touches each year, so even if you have seen the production, you will notice some subtle differences.

“We have three Menlowe Ballet guest artists: Hollie Rudolph, Patience Gordon and Leighton Shiveley. Leighton is a former MPAD student, a Menlowe Ballet company dancer and graduate of the Juilliard School NYC. So fun!”
