Clothes drive underway for patients at Palo Alto VA

Emails Kathleen Daly: “We are gearing up to bring some holiday cheer to patients in the Palo Alto VA at Building 520.

“Our goal this year is to pack 50 bags that will include a brand new pair of sweats, t-shirts, boxers and socks, along with a special requested gift. We then fill the supply closet with the same items that help Veterans who check into the unit throughout the year. The immense joy that this effort brings to the patients of the unit is immeasurable.

“Your contribution can be made by check [delivered to Cafe Zoë]  or online with our non-profit partner, “Get Human Inc.” All donors will receive a receipt for taxes and an invitation to join us for the delivery of the bags to the unit. Thank you for considering! Happy Holidays!
