Create Alebrijes at Belle Haven Library on January 3

On Friday, January 03, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, come to the Belle Haven Library (100 Terminal Avenue) for a fun hands-on art experience for adults and youths alike — create your own fantastical creature!

Alebrijes are are brightly-colored Mexican folk art sculptures, made of papier mache or wood. Rachel-Anne Palacios of Devika’s Palacio Multicultural Folk Art will show attendees how to make their own version of an alebrije with modeling clay.
