Spotted: Carved otter at Oak Knoll School

Oak Knoll principal Alicia Payton-Miyazaki let us know about a very special  addition to the school — a carved otter (the school’s mascot) created by Big John Mahoney and West Coast Arborists.

Emailed Alicia: “It is carved from the stump of our beautiful Valley Oak tree which fell last year, and John did such an amazing job taking information about the school and community and turning it into a gorgeous piece of art.”
