MPCSD parents are hosting a Snack Shack on February 1 at Arrillaga Gym

On Saturday, February 1, Menlo Park City School District (MPCSD) parent leaders are teaming up to host a Snack Shack from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Arrillaga Gym (pictured) during 3rd and 4th grade basketball league play — and the wider community is invited to attend.
This effort brings together parents from Laurel, Encinal, and Oak Knoll, with Hillview Service Club students running the snack sales and local Girl Scouts leading a letter-writing table for first responders.
100% of the proceeds will support SupplyBank, a California Department of Education partner providing essential supplies to public school students most affected by the fires.
MPCSD has embraced this cause, rallying the community through multiple student-led efforts, including:
- Laurel 3rd grade girls basketball team, the Electric White Tigers, raised $660 in a pop-up bake sale on January 25.
- Hillview ASB will donate 50% of proceeds from its January 31 Bingo Night to the LA Fire Relief Fund.
- Encinal Girl Scouts will sell flowers at their upcoming Lion King musical production, with funds benefiting the LA Fire Relief Fund.
