The Town of Woodside Environment and Open Space Committee is presenting a program on owls and bluebirds on Sunday, March 2.

Discover the beauty and unique lives of cavity nesting bluebirds and owls, their importance to the ecosystem, and how they act as natural pest control agents in gardens. Learn how you can help create safe and welcoming habitats for our feathered friends.

Christin New will talk about the Nesting Box Program of the San Mateo County Bird Alliance.

Menlo Park resident Rick Morris (In The Wild with Rick Morris), a birder and local photographer, will share his magnificent photos of owls in their natural habitat. Rick leads highly regarded local birding photography tours.

The program takes place at Independence Hall, 2955 Woodside Rd., Woodside Doors open at 4:45 p.m.

Admission is free. Wine and cheese will be served.
