Rotary Club of Menlo Park hosts College Success Collaborative on March 5
The Rotary Club of Menlo Park is hosting a “Rotary Connects” event on Wednesday March 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Menlo College. This event will feature a group known as the College Success Collaborative (CSC) which is made up of a group of 10 Bay Area organizations that are committed to the retention, graduation, and overall success of predominantly first-generation, low-income college student population.
The Rotary Club of Menlo Park invites all community members and philanthropy leaders to learn about the college success support in our local underserved communities in a casual networking setting while enjoying some refreshments.
Representatives from CSC member organizations will be in attendance to discuss their work. CSC members are College Track, East Palo Alto Academy Foundation, Foundation for a College Education, Menlo College, MVLA Scholars, Peninsula Bridge, Peninsula College Fund, Pursuit of Excellence, Rotary Club of Menlo Park and Sacred Heart Prep.
CSC meets monthly to discuss challenges, collaborate on joint programming, and share resources and best practices. The goal of CSC is to optimize the impact on communities they serve individually by investing in the overall health of their shared non-profit ecosystem.
CSC’s flagship project is an annual student conference held in the summer with keynote speakers, breakout sessions and workshops on a wide variety of topics including financial literacy, mental health and career success. The 5th annual CSC conference has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
