Senator Josh Becker announces winners of the 2025 Peninsula Proud Photography Contest
Senator Josh Becker (D-Menlo Park) has announced the winners of the 2025 Senate District 13 Peninsula Proud Photography Contest, celebrating the talent and vision of local photographers who have captured the beauty, diversity, and spirit of the Peninsula.
This year’s winners are:
- Eric Corpuz, Foster City – “Christmas Morning – Dawn in Foster City”
- George Bordi, La Honda – “Teamwork: A challenging emergency medical rescue deep in the redwoods near Portola State Park succeeded thanks to the La Honda Fire Brigade, CAL FIRE Skylonda, American Medical Response, Stanford Life Flight, and San Mateo County Sheriff working together.”
- Matt McWright, Atherton – “Day Breaks On the Colony” (shown top)
“These breathtaking photographs showcase the Peninsula’s natural beauty, rich community spirit, and resilience,” said Senator Becker. “I am thrilled to display these winning images in my Capitol Office in Sacramento and feature them on my website for all to see.
