E-waste, shredding and compost event for Atherton residents on April 12

On Saturday, April 12, 2025 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (or until the truck is full), Atherton residents can come and drop off their E-waste including camcorders, cell phones, computers, keyboards, laptops, monitors, printers, and televisions, and more. Please note: Fluorescent tubes and batteries will not be accepted.
Atherton residents may bring up to three standard banker boxes (maximum size: 10″x 12″x 15″) for secure on-site shredding. Staples and paper clips are acceptable. Note: No cardboard or plastic will be shredded.
A self-service compost station will also be available. Residents may take up to six full garbage bags of compost. Please bring your own shovels, gloves and containers.
Proof of residency is required. The event takes place at North Meadow (150 Watkins Ave.); there is no cost.
