Kepler’s kicks off 70th anniversary on Independent Bookstore Day on April 26

This spring marks 70 years since Kepler’s first opened its doors in Menlo Park and it’s kicking off its anniversary celebration with Independent Bookstore Day on Saturday, April 26. More activities to follow in the months to come.
First up at 11:00 am will be artist/illustrator Arree Chung talking about the launch of his new graphic novel, Don’t Cause Trouble. He’ll also offer a drawing workshop.
Then, there will be a Kepler’s first — a Literary Spelling Bee at 3:00 pm — when you can test your spelling acumen and literary knowledge at the same time with some fiendishly tricky words! Prizes include gift cards and tickets to upcoming events.
There will be games and activities taking place all day. RSVP now to this fun, free event!
