Spotted: Trees being planted by Mayor Combs for Arbor Day

“Two Saratoga Laurels were planted in Willow Oaks Park today in celebration of Arbor Day.

“This follows a tradition of Menlo Park mayors planting trees in celebration of Arbor Day. Here’s a link to the map of past planting sites.

“I was assisted in planting the trees this year by city staff  — Jillian Keller, City Arborist and Natividad “Naty” Alamo, Public Works Supervisor/Trees — staff from Canopy, and two preschool classes at Silicon Valley International School.”
