Pottery workshops return to M-A this summer

Pottery workshops will be held at Menlo-Atherton High School (555 Middlefield Ave.) on the following dates:

One day workshops

Saturday July 12, Basic Handbuilding (pinch focus), 10am – 12pm  
Beginner and Family Friendly
$85 per person
Learn handbuilding basics — introduction to pinch construction to create basic ceramics sculpture.

Sunday July 13, Basic Handbuilding (coil focus), 10am – 12pm
Beginner and Family Friendly
$85 per person
Learn handbuilding basics — introduction to coil construction to create basic ceramics sculpture.

Saturday August 2, Textured Slab Dishes, 10am – 12pm
Beginner and Family Friendly
$85 per person
Use forms and slab to create small plates. Add your choice of texture and stamps. Decorate with underglaze. Projects will be fired and clear glazed.

Two day wheel workshops 

Saturday and Sunday July 19-20, 10am-1pm
Recommended for ages 11 and up
$350 per person
