Alpine Little League team advances to Western Regional Tournament

Emailed Menlo Park resident and Alpine LL parent Amanda Amparo Munoz:

“The Alpine Little League 12 and under team is headed to the western regional tournament for the first time in Alpine history!

“If they win the west, they go to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

“Four Menlo residents are on the team — Nolan Levinson (Hillview), Jack Chambers (Menlo School), Derek Armstrong (SHP) and Charles Saste (La Entrada). Additionally, four St. Raymond’s students play on the team: Patrick Breslin, Dylan Dossola, Kogan Flannery, and Max Turner.

“The send off party for the West Region tourney (starts 8/3 in San Bernardino) is this Wednesday, 7/30 at 5:00 pm, Ford Field, Portola Valley.”
