Free on-call bulky item collection service for Recology customers

Recology offers two free scheduled pickups of large and bulky items from February 1–December 31.

Customers may set out:

• Two cubic yards of bagged/boxed solid waste (6x3x3ft)
• One large appliance (such as a washing machine, dryer, refrigerator or freezer)
• One bulky item (such as a mattress, couch or tires)
• Electronic waste (such as a TV, computer or computer monitor)

No liquids, dirt, rock, concrete, asphalt, hazardous waste or items that exceed 5 feet in length will be accepted. Contact 650-595-3900 or visit Recology’s website to schedule an appointment.

For residents in multi-family dwellings, please contact your property manager to schedule a bulky item pickup.

Also consider donating usable items to a local charity or non-profit organization in San Mateo County.
