Visit the Vietnamese Heritage Museum virtually on August 27

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025  from 6:00  to 7:00 pm, join the Menlo Park Library on a virtual visit to the Vietnamese Heritage Museum in Orange County.

The museum, located in Garden Grove, is dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of our Vietnamese refugees’ heritage. VHM collects and shares the testimonies and artifacts that tell the stories of the Vietnamese refugees, to preserve this heritage for present and future generations to reflect upon.

The “Boat of Hope” displayed in the museum is a six-meter-long wooden craft that in 1984 carried eight adults and one child fleeing Vietnam. It now carries a powerful message — of courage, survival, and the human cost of freedom.
