E-bike rider and motor vehicle collide at Valparaiso and Crane

Editor’s note: The following information was provided by a spokesperson from the Menlo Park Police Department.

At approximately 8:30 am today, [the Menlo Park Police Department] Patrol and Traffic teams responded to a reported collision at Valparaiso Avenue and Crane Street involving a motor vehicle and an e-bike.

The bicyclist, a 16-year-old, sustained moderate, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. Parents were notified.

The collision is under investigation.
