Learn about banned books on October 9

On Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, join the Menlo Park Library online for a presentation celebrating your freedom to read. Register via Zoom.

Library staff will share selections from banned books, with context about some of the cases brought against each.

The theme for Banned Books Week 2025 (October 5-11) is “Censorship Is So 1984. Read for Your Rights,” a reminder that censorship efforts persist to this day.
