Spotted: Laurel School moms at the Mermaid Triathlon

Six Menlo Park residents — and Laurel School moms  — set an inspiring goal: to complete the Mermaid Triathlon in Capitola on October 4.

It all started when one mom marked a milestone birthday by embracing a new mantra: I can do hard things. Her friends jumped in — literally — to support her and take on the challenge together.

These six women are moms to 16 Laurel kids, and what an incredible example they’ve set — showing their children that growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone, work hard, and just go for it!
