Path closed along San Francisquito Creek/Santa Cruz Ave

The path along San Francisquito Creek/Santa Cruz Avenue between Junipero Serra Boulevard and Sand Hill Road will be closed until further notice. All users should avoid using the path and use alternate routes instead. Bicyclists should use bike lanes on Alpine Road, Junipero Serra Boulevard and Sand Hill Road.

Asked about the closure, a spokesperson who the Public Works Department responded: “Due to significant erosion, the path along San Francisquito Creek/Santa Cruz Ave. is damaged and unsafe for travel. We are currently evaluating options for repair, but the path will remain closed until further notice.”
