Complete Streets Commission to review pilot projects at Nealon Park and Blake Street on Nov. 12

The upcoming Complete Streets Commission Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 12, starting at 6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers (751 Laurel St.) and via Zoom will review the Nealon Park Back-In Angled Parking and Blake Street Pilot Closure results and discuss next steps for these pilots.

The pilots include a temporary closure of Blake Street at Middle Avenue to improve bicyclist and pedestrian safety when accessing Nealon Park, as well as a reconfiguration of parking at Nealon Park to back-in angled spaces to enhance safety for bicyclists in the bike lane.
