Storytelling with Odd Salon and Curiosity Guild at Menlo Park Library on Nov. 12

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025  from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, teens and adults are invited to come to the Menlo Park Library (800 Alma St.) to hear true stories from the odd corners of history, science, art & adventure!

For over a decade, curious minds have sought out Odd Salon events in San Francisco and New York to hear strange-but-true stories, shared live on stage. In 2026, Curiosity Guild will be bringing more wonderfully weird tales to the Bay Area.

The lectures bring experts and enthusiastic amateurs together to explore history’s overlooked and under-told stories, from legends of lost cities to masters of art forgery, engineering failures, daring heists, and more.

This is one of eight events in the 10th Annual Menlo Park Storytelling Festival
