Tell It Slant: An Afternoon with Emily Dickinson will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 4:00 pm at Trinity Church in Menlo Park (330 Ravenswood Ave.) with guest speaker Kristin LeMay, author of I Told My Soul to Sing: Finding God with Emily Dickinson.
Dickinson wrestled with God honestly, wrote about doubt without flinching, and somehow managed to be funny about all of it. LeMay is deeply attuned to what Dickinson’s poetry still has to say to those of us navigating the complicated terrain between belief and unbelief.
The event is free and open to all.
A wine and cheese reception with book signing follows at 5:30 pm.
