“National Civil Rights Museum: Declassifying King” is topic on March 9

On Monday, March 9, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, the Menlo Park Library is hosting a Zoom webinar “National Civil Rights Museum: Declassifying King”.
Learn about Dr. Martin Luther King’s final moments in Memphis, Tennessee in April 1968 and the subsequent investigations and inquiries into his death.
In July 2025, an Executive Order declassified over 243,000 files related to the assassination of Dr. King.
Join Ryan Jones, the Director of History at the National Civil Rights Museum as he discusses the assassination and the lingering conspiracy questions.
