Watercolor and mixed media paintings by Susan Jochheim featured at Portola Art Gallery in March

“Anything Goes” — an exhibition of watercolor and mixed media paintings by Bay Area artist Susan Jochheim — is the featured exhibit at the Portola Art Gallery in March. Known for her playful curiosity and fearless experimentation, Susan transforms her love of color into an array of styles, each painting infused with texture, whimsy, and bold expression.

A reception for the artist will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Visitors can also meet Susan at the gallery on Saturday, March 28 and Tuesday, March 31 and by appointment.

After a successful 25-year career running her own HR company, Susan returned to her first love: watercolor. Though she has no formal art training, she has spent the past decade honing her craft, earning awards and achieving Signature Member status in both Watercolor West and the Society of West-Coast Artists.

Beyond her artistic achievements, Susan donates a portion of her proceeds to charities supporting women and youth.
