Great time had by all at Menlo Park’s Spring Festival

On a beautiful sunny day in Menlo Park, the city held its annual Spring Festival in and around Burgess Park.
Organized by Jen Mosso and her capable team, the event was well attended throughout the three hours from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm — and everyone seemed to be having a great time!
District 5 City Council member Jennifer Wise kicked it off on the stage next to the egg hunting grounds, welcoming everyone to the event. And Nick Szegda (pictured right) was as entertaining as ever as the Master of Ceremonies.
Activities included bouncy houses, a crafts station where kids could create Spring time art, ongoing outdoor egg hunting sessions on the grassy area, rides on the “Old Tom” firetruck with the Menlo Park Fire Department, a small petting zoo, and a bubble making station.
A great day and a wonderful event! Kudos to the City of Menlo Park!
