Senator Becker launches “Good News Climate” blog

In a time of global uncertainty and volatility in energy markets, Senator Josh Becker (D-Menlo Park) announced the launch of his “Good News Climate” blog—an effort to highlight real progress and stories of optimism in the shared fight for a sustainable future.

“At a moment when so much of the conversation around climate is focused on challenges, there are also real stories of progress that deserve attention,” said Senator Becker. “There is good news out there, and I want to share it. While oil prices fluctuate with global instability, clean energy is delivering something different: stability and predictability. These are the kinds of developments that give me hope, and they show that the transition to a cleaner, more affordable energy future is already underway.”

The blog will feature stories of success including:

• Growth in solar, wind, and energy storage
• Expansion of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure
• Policies advancing affordability and access to clean energy
• Innovation driving sustainable solutions, economic growth, and job creation
