Woodside Priory Theater presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Comedy, mistaken identities, drama, magic — they’re all part of Woodside Priory Middle School’s production“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare. Fun and appropriate for all ages.

Set in our modern time period, family troubles of humans collide with family troubles of the magical Fairy King and Fairy Queen. As four friends flee to the forest to escape an unwelcome engagement and five amateur actors gather in the same forest to write, act and stage what may be the funniest “so-bad-it’s-great” original play ever, both groups are pranked by magical, mischievous fairies.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” plays Thursday, April 30 and Friday May 1 at 7:00 pm and Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 pm.

Tickets are $5 students,  $20 adults on April 30th and May 2nd; $10 students, $25 adults on May 1st.
