Menlo Park Library Summer Reading Game takes place June 1 to August 31

The Summer Reading Game is open to all ages; anyone can play and win prizes. The Game runs from June 1 – August 31.
- Register or sign in to the Reader Zone app between June 1 – August 31.
- Use program code A53D1 to search for the Summer Reading Game and join the reading group for your age range.
- Log your reading progress using the Reader Zone app. Try to meet the goal by August 31!
- Choose your first free book at the library when you sign up, and a second when you complete your reading goal.

If you would prefer to play along offline, come to the libraries for a bookmark reading log to fill in.
Everyone who signs up for the Summer Reading Game can choose a free book from the prize carts. Everyone who completes their reading goal by August 31 will win a second book and a ticket to enter a drawing for one of 8 themed prize bundles. Attend select library events throughout the summer for a chance for more tickets!
- Tickets for the prize drawings will be available through August 31. The drawings will occur in early September and winners will be notified.
- Prize books will be available through September 12
The Summer Reading Game kicks off with a week of fun activities at the library. Enjoy a new theme every day and drop-in crafts, by dressing up, creating art or sharing a story that ties into the day’s theme.
- Monday, June 1: Fun in the Sun Day
- Tuesday, June 2: Mythology Day
- Wednesday, June 3: Garden Day
- Thursday, June 4: Space Day
- Friday, June 5: Pajama Day
